Psanctum

Donations and sales from Psanctum Thrift raise funds for psychedelic-assisted therapy for those for whom cost is a
barrier.

Psanctum provides a weekly community open mic, a monthly psychedelic integration circle, a speaker series, consultations by donation, and drug testing supplies.

We pay our associates a competitive starting wage (which will increase as the business grows) and the opportunity to sell their art and second-hand goods in the store.

We are small, local, and founded by a third generation Oregonian who has witnessed the way Portland is struggling and wants to turn it around with an ethical business that will help lift others up.

• Psanctum Thrift is the first non-profit thrift store to align itself with, and contribute to, the growing field of psychedelic-assisted therapy, a form of treatment that can address the root causes that lead many people to paths of addiction and, at times, houselessness.
• The Psanctum Thrift building includes a meeting space as well—a room for psychedelic integration circles, our book club, and harm reduction talks and workshops.
• The building also features a rare-books reference library, reading room, psychedelic book store, and archive.
• Psanctum recently acquired the last thirty-four boxes of the Timothy Leary archive still in private possession. We will exhibiting some of the items in our Psychedelic Education Center, where we will also work to diligently digitize and preserve this unique psychedelic collection.
