Magic Mushrooms through the Lens of Tarot

We will probe deeply into archetypal symbolism, showing how tarot can serve as a guide for personal growth when paired with the introspective effects of psychedelic mushrooms. Together, we will uncover the profound connections between occult wisdom and modern consciousness exploration, forging a path towards self-discovery and holistic development.
Part I:
Tarot Through a Mushroom Lens First Eyanna Shrishti (Love Cult, Psanctum) will uncover the intriguing threads of symbolism from the tarot and use of mushrooms to reach self-actualization. Delving into the rich imagery of the Major Arcana, they will paint parallels of the transformative experiences we receive through mushroom medicines. Their presentation will highlight how both modalities offer a lens to explore one’s psyche, providing insights, and will also show how to use “birth cards” from the tarot to support your own inner growth.
Part II:
Mushrooms Through a Tarot Lens: Eyanna will be followed up by Tom Hatsis (Psanctum), who will discuss mushroom symbology within a tarot framework. His portion of the talk will dig deep into working with Goddesses, psychedelic witchcraft, and natural philosophy.
About your Presenters:
Ey-Anna Shrishti, a seasoned practitioner of tarot having devoted over half their life to studying the practice, is the visionary founder of the mystic, oracle, and alchemist collective known as Love Cult. With a natural intuitive understanding of chaos magick, Ey-Anna navigates the realms of mysticism, bringing ancient wisdom to the modern world. Their journey is a testament to the transformative power of the mystical arts, and their presence in the world of divination and mysticism continues to inspire those who seek the path less traveled.
Tom Hatsis writes and speaks on psychedelic and entheogenic history. He is the author of The Witches’ Ointment (2015); Psychedelic Mystery Traditions (2018); Microdosing Magic (2018), and LSD: The Wonder Child (2021). He has appeared on the GaiamTV shows Beyond Belief with George Noory, Psychedelica, and Open Minds with Regina Meredith, and been published in Psychedelic Press U.K. and the Journal of Psychedelic Studies. He directs the Psanctum Psychedelic Education Center, hosts the weekly Psanctum Open Mic, and curates the Psanctum Psychedelic Library.
