Soldier Calvin Sweet participated in army drug testing (likely under the auspices of the CIA’s MKULTRA program) at the Army Chemical Warfare Laboratory at Edgewood Arsenal in 1957. Sweet tried to sue the US army for long-term damages in 1978, but was unsuccessful due to the amount of time that had passed and his inability to prove that he was actually given experimental drugs (instead of a placebo).

Sweet is just another from a long line of victims abused by the US government throughout the 1950s and 1960s who will not see justice.
